A six-year-old girl has died following a crash between a tractor and car near Warwick last week.

The incident took place along the B4455 Fosse Way near Moreton Morrell around 5pm on Friday.

The collision involved a tractor and a Volkswagen Tiguan.

Police have now confirmed one of the passengers in the car was a six-year-old girl, who suffered serious head injuries during the incident.

She was taken to hospital where she died the following morning.

Her family is being supported by specially trained officers.

Now, police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
