The full route has been confirmed for more than 60 tractors to make their way through South Warwickshire this December, all in aid of two local charities.

Following the great success of last year's event, The Warwickshire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (WFYFC) Tractor Run will return on Tuesday 12 December 2023.

In 2022 nearly £7,000 was raised, and organisers are looking to hit the same heights this year in support of WFYFC and The Myton Hospice.

And now the official route has been confirmed.

This year the convoy will depart from Stoneleigh Park at 5.30pm.

The convoy will then head into Leamington via Cubbington, then travel down the Parade, before heading into Warwick along Myton Road.

The convoy will head through the town centre and then sweep around the outskirts of the town before heading along Warwick Road into Leek Wootton and onto Kenilworth.

They will then head along Warwick Road, past the castle and up to Burton Green along Red Lane - then on to Balsall Common and finishing at Balsall and Berkswell Rugby Club.

Organisers told Nub News: "This year we are hoping to raise more money for Warwickshire YFC and Myton Hospice with the help from an online fundraising campaign and from collectors in the busiest areas throughout the run.

"We're very excited to be bringing Warwickshire another Christmas Tractor Run and hope to be doing it for many years to come!"

Last year people lined the streets all along the route and the spectacle brought together all ages, with children particularly fascinated.

Comments on Facebook and the Go Fund Me page included "It was brilliant and the children loved it" and "I respect the amazing efforts the young farmers went to to bring enjoyment to all for worthy and worthwhile causes".

Keep up to date with the event on the Facebook page.
