Road closures have been announced as Warwick Castle gets ready to host thousands of guests at two concerts this week.

Michael Bublé will be performing at the castle for the first time tonight (July 13), having had his concert delayed by a year due to Covid-19.

The Grammy-award winning singer will be touring his 'An Evening with Michael Bublé' show at a variety of outdoor venues across the UK.

To allow the public to leave the venue safely this evening, Banbury Road (between its junction with Myton Road and Castle Hill), West Street and Stratford Road will close between 9.45pm and 11.15pm.

Tonight's show will be followed by Tears For Fears on Friday, July 15.

The two-piece band will be joined by Alison Moyet.

Moyet has already come to the rescue of the pop rock outfit on a couple of occasions this months with Tears For Fears pulling out of gigs in Derby and the Lytham Festival.

The band said the performances had been cancelled to allow Curt Smith to recover from a hip injury.

But with the duo saying that they should be fit to play again this weekend, the same road closures will apply on Friday.

Banbury Road (between its junction with Myton Road and Castle Hill), West Street and Stratford Road will close between 9.45pm and 11.15pm.
