Road closure details announced for Warwick Half Marathon 2025

Road closure details have been announced for the 2025 Warwick Half Marathon this weekend.

The annual event returns on Sunday, February 2 with the start and finish line at Warwick Racecourse.

Organised by RunThrough, the 13.1-mile course will take runners out of town along Coventry Road to Leek Wootton, along Rouncil Lane towards Beausale, and then back to Warwick via Hatton and Hampton on the Hill.

This year will also include a 1km kids race.

The half marathon will begin at 9am, with many of the road closures beginning at 8am, with others starting at 9.30am.

Closures will be removed once the runners have moved safely past that section of the course.

Warwick District Council has confirmed the following closures:

  • Bread and meet close 8am - 9.30am
  • Vittle Drive 8am - 9.30am
  • Saltisford 8am - 9.30am
  • Northgate 8am - 9.30am
  • The Butts 8am - 9.30am
  • Smith Street 8am - 9.30am
  • St John's 8.30am - 10am
  • Coventry Road 8.30am - 10am
  • Warwick Road, Leek Wootton 8.30am - 10.30am
  • A46 Northbound slip road Leek Wootton 8.30am - 10.30am
  • Woodcote Lane 8.30am - 10.30am
  • Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth 8.30am - 11am
  • Red House Farm Lane 8.30am - 11.30am
  • Kites Nest Lane 8.30am - 11.30am
  • Brownley Green Lane 8.30am - 11.30am
  • Hampton Street 8.30am to 2.30pm
  • Birmingham Road 9.30am to 11.30am
  • Ugly Bridge Road 9.30am to 12pm
  • Woodway Lane 9.30am to 12.30pm
  • Old Budbrooke Road 8.30am to 2pm
  • Hampton Road 8.30am to 2pm
