Council contractors are next week set to fix two bridges in a Warwick park.

Warwick District Council confirmed the works for the bridge at St Nicholas Park.

"We will be carrying out repair works to two small pedestrian bridges within St Nicholas Park, Warwick, starting week commencing 9 November," a council notice said.

"The work will begin on the smaller wooden bridge over the stream before moving on to the second pedestrian bridge near the café.

"While repairs are underway, the café bridge will be temporarily closed for a few days, with temporary fencing in place on both sides to keep the public safe.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank visitors for their patience while we carry out these essential repairs."
