The racing has been abandoned in Warwick today due to frozen sections of the track.
The announcement was made at 8am this morning (January 10) with an apology to spectators.
A statement from Warwick Racecourse said: "Unfortunately, we have failed this morning's inspection, and today's racing has been abandonned.
"Whilst the majority of the track is raceable, the back straight remains frozen in areas.
"The contingency plan we put in place yesterday, using the outer hurdle line, has frozen under the sheets and is unraceable.
"With temperatures only forecast to rise above freezing by 10am and highs of only 2C there will not be sufficient improvement ahead of racing.
"All general admission ticket purchasers will be refunded automatically, and our team will be in touch directly with out hospitality guests."
