Grants of up to £3,000 are now available to community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Warwick district.

The funding, which is aimed at groups supporting vulnerable people during the pandemic, comes from Warwick District Council's community economic recovery fund.

Money will also be used to support events and projects to remember those who have died or suffered as a result of Covid-19.

"The pandemic has demonstrated the vital work that our local support groups and organisations provide for our communities, but it's also had a detrimental impact on their finances," said Cllr Judy Falp, cabinet member for community protection.

"I would encourage as many organisations as possible to come forward and apply for this funding, and I thank them for the continued service they have provided to the most vulnerable in our district."

Full details of the scheme, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, can be found online here.
