Police have issued a dispersal order for the centre of Warwick this weekend as the mop fair returns to town.

The order runs from today (October 16) until 4am on Sunday 18 October

It will allow officers to "take stronger action against people committing antisocial behaviour, ordering them to move away from the area or be arrested".

"We hope that you are all excited and ready for tonight's Mop Fair in Warwick," a force statement said.

"To make sure we can deter anyone we believe may be spoiling the fun for everyone else away from the fair, we are implementing a temporary Section 34 dispersal order from 5pm this evening (16 October).
