A man has been taken to hospital after police were called to the scene of a welfare incident at a house in Warwick.

Concerns were raised for the welfare of a man in his 60s who is believed to have had a "medical episode".

There was a large emergency service presence at the property on Oakwood Grove.

A Warwickshire Police statement said: "Our officers attended along with Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.

"The man has been taken to hospital."
