Plans for 20mph speed zone around Warwick Hospital revealed - have your say

Locals have until the end of June to have their say on a new 20mph speed limit for a Warwick housing estate.
Warwickshire County Council is asking for feedback on the speed limit changes around Wathen Road and Warwick Hospital.
If approved, all the streets would drop down from 30mph to 20mph.
The consultation has come after Cllr John Holland requested the local authority look into the area.
"As a result of further investigations conducted into the area requested for the speed reduction, results showed that the mean speeds have met the criteria for reducing the speed limit to 20mph without having to install traffic calming measures," a council notice said.
"In addition, a Road Safety Assessment was also conducted, resulting in the proposed 20mph speed limit receiving approval from the Traffic & Road Safety Team and the Police."
It continued: "The proposed speed limit will help improve the environment by reducing the risk of conflict between vehicular traffic, pedestrians and other road users, avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road and for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising."
Locals have until 30 June to have their say.
