A parish council has maintained is objection to "unacceptable" plans to build a major housing estate next to a village garden centre.
Seven Capital plc had applied to Warwick District Council to build 66 homes next to Smith's Garden Centre in Baginton, but the developer has now reduced the number of houses to 63 following multiple objections to the original plan.
The number of affordable houses proposed has been increased from nine to 26.
"The proposed development responds to this local setting with a range of modern detached and semi-detached dwellings," the application said.
If approved, the Coventry Road proposal will join onto a 56-house development which was approved by Warwick District Council last September.
But Baginton Parish Council said the revised scheme still does not address its concerns.
"The general opinion is that our original objection must stand," the fresh objection notice said.
"There are too many new homes planned. This development should have been better controlled, as we now have two developers seeking to build around 60 homes each on their own plot.
"We appreciate that the developer has reduced housing numbers to provide more garden space, visitor parking etc. but the reduction in housing numbers is just too small.
"A total of 80 was agreed in the local plan, neighbourhood plan and by the independent inspector. No reason has been provided for a 54 per cent increase in that figure and this simply can't be supported We therefore continue to object on the grounds explained previously."
The plans state that a mix of one, two, three and four bed homes would be built and a a farmhouse and agricultural buildings would have to be knocked down to make way.
The application added: "The proposed development has reduced the number of units from the initial 66 to 63 dwellings.
"As a result of this, it has afforded greater landscape infrastructure to be provided throughout the site. It also provides a closer comparison to the amount of dwellings granted to the adjacent northern scheme, which was approved for 56 dwellings."
