An overnight closure has been announced for a housing estate on Banbury Road by Warwickshire County Council.

Council contractors are set to carry out surfacing works on the main carriageway of the A425 Banbury Road including at the junction of Brooklime Road.

Works are due to take place overnight on Friday 3 July at The Asps.

The closure will be from 8pm until 6am the following day.

"Access for residents will be maintained along the A425 from Warwick only due to works that are required close to the Grey Mallory Roundabout which will prevent safe access," the council said.

"The traffic management will be manned throughout the works and access to the Asps development will be maintained at all times."
