Over 30,000 people headed to Warwick over last weekend to make the most of the town's folk festival.

The four-day event saw a superb line up of folk stars from around the world come to South Warwickshire with over 80 artists performing at the festival and at the many fringe events in the town centre.

Warwick Folk Festival organisers estimate the event brought in around £500,000 of business to the local economy.

Dick Dixon, festival director stated: "We are delighted with the success of the festival which attracted huge numbers.

"Everything ran smoothly, and with the sun shining most of the time, it was great to see so many families and visitors with big smiles on their faces soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying a fantastic range of musical acts and events."

Next year's Warwick Folk Festival will take place from 25 to 28 July 2024.

A number of super early bird tickets have already been released for 2024 and are available to buy from the website.
