Opening date for new B&Q announced - work underway on site

Work is well underway on site at a new B&Q store opening in South Warwickshire this month.
The DIY retailer bought the Homebase store on Myton Road as part of a £2.5 million deal to buy five of the closing down stores.
Work is well underway on site converting the huge retail unit into a new B&Q store.
And the company has announced the new site will open on Wednesday 16 April.

The new shop will employ 43 people, 26 of whom are transferring over from Homebase.
As well as the Myton Road site, Altrincham in Greater Manchester, Basingstoke in Hampshire, Biggleswade in Bedfordshire, and Worcester in Worcestershire were included in the major deal.
As well as Click + Collect, the new B&Q will have a timber cutting service, key cutting service, paint mixing, bathroom showroom, kitchen showroom and Rug Doctor hire.
