A Warwick cafe has reopened with a new name and branding, more than a year after the new owners took over.

Brothers-in-law Dan Birchall and Tom Everard-Fairburn got the keys to what was the Market Place Pantry last May.

Not wanting to scare off the coffee shop's loyal customers they decided not to radically change everything as soon as they took over.

But after a year of easing into their own style, the town centre business has officially reopened as Two Brother's Cafe.

"We wanted customers to get used to know us and we wanted to start to build a reputation for ourselves as individuals before we did anything with the business," Dan explained.

"We thought if we came in and changed everything straight away we might lose all those existing customers."

Tom added: "After a year we realised we had a very strong customer base in our own right. People were familiar enough with us that we decided to start doing what we wanted to do when we started this venture together."

Having already begun to introduce a wider variety of food, the duo has now revealed a new bespoke menu.

The cafe was also closed for a week to be repainted and revamped - the pair doing all the renovations themselves.

And they have received lots of compliments on how the space looks "much bigger, much brighter and more colourful".

"Lots of people have been positive. People have come in and been amazed at how much bigger the room looks," Tom said.

"It is more where we saw ourselves when we first had the idea of taking it over."

Whilst Tom and Dan are pleased with the changes, and are excited to be running the cafe as they had imagined, they also wanted to reassure the customer base they have grown over the past 12 months that they can still expect the same experience.

"We want everyone to know it is still the same people who have been here for a year," Dan said.

"Sure we have changed names, but we are still the same cafe.

"We are still a relaxed place really. We don't want to take things too seriously. We want to have a laugh with customers and to be a really friendly place."

Tom added: "It is still the great quality, everything is still homemade and it is still the two same blokes."
