New landlord needed at village pub
A pub chain says it is offering a "flexible arrangement" as it keeps looking for a new tenant at one of its pubs.
Stonegate Group is on the hunt for somebody to run Granville Arms in Barford which it says has a potential annual turnover of £498,000.
The regional manager said the grade II listed building is a "fantastic opportunity for an experienced publican".
"I have been successfully working with publicans to develop strong food led offers at unbranded destination businesses for over 20 years," they added.
"I can help support and grow your business through industry accreditations, knowledge to help you drive sales, food safety standards, menu development and wet sales category management.
"I am also here to support you across many areas of your pub business, encouraging and guiding you along the way."
The company's website says the rent would be £35,000 and £14,750 would be needed to get the pub going.
Inside the pub there is a 40-cover bar and a 50-cover restaurant with a "large and well-equipped trade kitchen".
Stonegate says the Wellesbourne Road inn is "packed with character" including an open fire, beamed ceilings and hardwood flooring.
The private accommodation is spread over two floors and is of a good size comprising five bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen.
Stonegate Pub Partners is now "seeking a publican who is passionate about food" and has the "ability to become a part of the community".
In February Bloomberg reported the chain was set to sell 1,000 of its venues.
