New ‘InPost’ post locker could be coming to Warwick community centre

Plans for a new InPost parcel locker have been submitted to Warwick District Council.
The nationwide delivery service has asked for permission to install the new facility at The Gap Community Centre on Oakwood Grove.
InPost already has 10,000 lockers nationwide.
"Ensuring InPost Lockers are conveniently placed, accessible to all, and work within the existing street-space to maximise the social and environmental benefits InPost delivers is an utmost priority," the application said.
"In collaboration with our landlord partners, we have developed a series of placement principles to help aid with the selection of suitable locations per location type e.g., forecourts, train stations, groceries, supermarkets, and car parks.
"The placement principles consider both the safety of users and the surrounding community, such as lighting."
InPost has recently come under fire for installing a locker on Emscote Road without planning permission.
