Police have released a new image of a missing Warwick man as the search to find him stretches into a sixth week.

Stefan Watkins, 47, was first announced as missing on June 6, with officers saying they were "concerned for his welfare".

Today (July 18) Warwickshire Police has published a new image of Mr Watkins and issued a fresh appeal for information as "extensive" efforts to find him continue.

A force statement said: "We have issued a new image of missing man Stefan Watkins as we continue our efforts to find him.

"The 47-year-old was reported missing after leaving his home in Warwick at the beginning of last month.

"Despite extensive efforts, we have so far been unable to locate Stefan, who has connections to Coventry and parts of south Warwickshire.

"We appreciate the quality of the latest image is not the best, but we're keen to locate Stefan safe and well and would ask anyone who thinks they might have seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

"He is described as white, around 6ft tall, with blue eyes. Anyone who sees him or knows where he might be is asked to contact the force."
