Myton School receives £5k in funding from local housing developer

Taylor Wimpey has made a £5,000 donation to Myton School in Warwick.

The school - which is new the developer's sites at The Asps and Valiant Fields - has put the money towards completely renovating its lower school boys' toilet facilities, installing new fixtures, flooring and paintwork.

The new toilets are now modern, clean and comfortable, providing a more pleasant experience for the pupils. 

Ben Walker, managing director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: "We are delighted to support Myton School with this donation towards their toilet refurbishment.

"As a responsible developer, we are committed to making a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate. We hope that this donation will help to improve the facilities at Myton School and enhance the learning environment for its students."

Mr A Perry, headteacher commented: "We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Wimpey's generous donation towards our toilet refurbishment.

"The refurbished facilities will provide a much-needed improvement to the school environment, benefiting both students and staff.

"This support from Taylor Wimpey is a great example of how businesses can make a positive impact in the local community."
