MP for Leamington and Warwick Matt Western has wished pupils receiving results today (21 August) the 'best of luck'.

In a heartfelt message, Mr Western said: " Wishing the best of luck to all those receiving their GCSE and Level 1/2 VTQ results today.

"You have worked hard to get to today, and I hope you get the results you need for your next steps.

"Please remember that if today does not go as you hoped, it doesn't define you.

"There is support out there to help you decide what to do next and explore the options available to you."

He further went on to thank teachers, support staff, parents, carers and families who have supported students throughout this period.

"Your contribution and support is essential", he added.

"Thank you for all you do."
