MP Matt Western shared his thoughts on 80th VJ Day commemorations

Over the weekend, Warwick District saw commemorations for the 80th VJ Day (Victory over Japan).
MP for Leamington and Warwick Matt Western shared his thoughts on the day.
He said: "VJ Day is chance to remember all those who fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice in a conflict too often forgotten yet continued months after VE Day.
It is an important opportunity to remember those who fought and died to defend our freedoms. We will remember them.
My thanks to all who organised commemorations across our towns and villages."
