Motorist arrested for suspected drug-driving in Warwick area

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed drug limit in the Warwick area.

Whilst on burglary patrols, officers from Warwick Police followed the vehicle which has an 'interesting smell coming from it.'

Upon further investigation the driver was found to be over the prescribed drug limit.

A green herbal substance believed to be cannabis was also seized from the vehicle.

The driver has since been released under investigation whilst police await a blood result to return.
