Morris dancers will once again head to Warwick this June as the Vale of Evesham Morris Weekend returns.

Some 400 dancers will head to towns across Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire across the weekend of 19 to 21 June.

The event, now in its 23rd year, will involve over 400 morris from 40 'sides' across England and Wales dancing different genres, including Appalachian, Border, Cotswold, Mumming, Molly Dancing, Northwest, Clog Stepping and Sword.

Dancers will head to Warwick on the Saturday morning, as well as visiting nearby Stratford-upon-Avon, Wellesbourne and Welford-on-Avon.

Over the weekend the "Evesham Stick" will be presented by the Mayor of Evesham to the side that has best-demonstrated the 'spirit of the morris'.
