More consulting rooms are set to be added to a village medical centre after plans were approved by Warwick District Council.
Budbrooke Medical Centre has been granted planning permission for an extension at the surgery on Slade Hill.
The single storey addition will increase the number of consulting rooms from six to eight.
Signing off on the application, a council report said: "The proposed development is considered to be of an acceptable scale, with the design considered to have an acceptable impact on the character and appearance of the area.
"The proposal is considered to have an acceptable impact on the amenity of neighbouring uses and occupiers, with the parking survey submitted also demonstrating how the proposal is acceptable from a parking perspective."
Just one objection was received to the application, raising concerns about the lack of parking on site and in the area.
However, in response the council's report said: "The local highways authority have been consulted on the proposed scheme, raising no objection to the proposed development.
"Within this response it is explicitly noted that the development is not deemed to pose a highways safety concern, with it also noted that the submitted parking survey demonstrates a suitable number of nearby parking amenity that may cover any additional parking needs, with this also acknowledged within a site visit."
In 2022 an application to build a two-storey building in the neighbouring car park of The Montgomery of Alamein pub was refused.
