A man has been taken into custody and given hospital treatment after an incident in Warwick yesterday morning (13 August).

Officers responded to a call at at 2.14am after concerns about the unusual behaviour of a man on a roof in the Butts area.

Local residents also expressed concern on social media out broken windows in the Eastgate area.

The incident led to several road closures in the town which lasted a few hours.

The man was taken into custody and given hospital treatment.
