Man faces charges for exceeding alcohol limit while driving in Warwick

A 59-year-old man has been charged with driving over the legal alcohol limit in Warwick.

Warwick Police stopped the vehicle and conducted a breath test, which revealed a level of 57.

The legal limit is 35.

The man was then arrested and taken to the police station, where he was required to provide an evidential breath sample while in custody.

This test also indicated a result exceeding the legal limit, registering a reading of 50, which remains 10 over the permissible level of 40.
