Makeover coming for local bowling alley
A local bowling alley is soon to reveal its new face lift, with works due to be finished at the end of January.
Tenpin at Tachbrook Park Drive is currently having a makeover, and has been handed a boost as a planning application for new signs has been signed off by Warwick District Council.
The chain announced at the end of last year it would be having a refit inside and promised to get "more exciting than ever".
The Tachbrook Park site - which was marketed for sale last year - remains open for business during the works.
"You'll be pleased to know we're still open as usual so there's no need to pause your Leamington Spa bowling fun while we work on making your entertainment centre better than ever," the website said.
"What do we have in store for you with this new look?
"You can look forward to a revamped cocktail bar area with stylish new furniture and two brand-new private karaoke rooms.
"So get ready to round up your mates and take centre stage to show off your vocal skills with friends and family. What's not to love?"
The kitchens will be temporarily closed from January 13 until 5pm on January 17 due to the works.
The application approved by the council last month show more modern signage will be installed outside the building.
Tenpin added: "Keep visiting us to catch a sneak peek at the new changes as they're unveiled.
"We can't wait to bowl you over with this new-look Tenpin!"
