A piece of grazing land opposite a Warwick secondary school has been sold for £1.4 million.

Property agent Wareing & Co confirmed the 10 acre site off Stratford Road was bought at the end of July.

Opposite Aylesford School and the Playbox Theatre, the land is described as "an attractive opportunity for purchasers seeking long-term development potential".

The land was marketed as future employment land, subject to being included in the new local plan.

It was bought by an unnamed private buyer.
