UPDATE: M40 southbound reopens following lorry fire

The M40 in Warwickshire has now reopened following a lorry fire on Friday (January 3).

The southbound carriageway was shut for around eight hours following the incident between J16 (Hockley Heath) and J15 (Warwick).

National Highways has now confirmed the road has reopened.
