Several Warwick businesses will be getting into the Halloween spirit this October, showcasing spooky displays in their shop windows.

It comes as part of the Warwick Haunted Windows competition which is back from 22 October.

Warwick Town Council, which organises the competition, said: "Ready to explore the most charmingly eerie town this October?

"Grab a warm drink, gather your ghost-hunting crew, and take a spooky stroll through Warwick to see all the creative, chilling, and clever ghosts hiding in plain sight.

"Every window is a unique piece of Halloween art!

"It's the perfect way to celebrate Halloween and support our town centre. See you on the streets, ghost hunters!"

Participating businesses include: Diffuse Retail, Dough & Brew, Warwickshire Museum, Warwick Create, Lavelle Bridal Couture, Present Days Warwick, Torry's Hardware, Encore Clothing Agency, Heaphys, Jack's Shack, Connells Estate Agents - Warwick, The Oken Tea Rooms, Trinkets & Treasures, Happy Puccia, Grace Gradon and Pillows and Porcelain.

The council is inviting the public to capture and share images of their ghostly finds, encouraging all to tag both the council and the participating businesses when sharing photos, using the hashtags: #WarwicksHauntedWindows, #WarwickGhosts, and #Warwickisnoghosttown.
