HS2 has announced that it will divert a public right of way in Ladbroke for three years as it removes large amounts of earth in the area.

SM90, also known as the Harry Green Way, will be diverted near Ladbroke Hill Lane from Monday 22 August.

HS2 said: "The footpath will be diverted for a short distance along a new access track.

"This track will have shared access between footpath users, as well as farm and Severn Trent Water access.

"This diversion reconnects with the existing footpath near Ladbroke Hill, allowing walkers to continue their journey along this long distance path.

"The safety of users is paramount and further alterations or closures may be required as the earthworks continue."
