Night-time lane closures have been announced for the A46 by HS2.

The high speed rail developer will close lanes one and two of the northbound carriageway for five nights later this month between the Thickthorn Interchange on the edge of Kenilworth and Stoneleigh Junction.

HS2 said the closures are needed for "tree vegetation clearance adjacent to the A46".

"To carry this work out safely, with minimal disruption, we will put in place night-time closures of lane one and two on the A46 northbound," an HS2 statement said.

Works will be taking place 25 to 30 September 2023 from 8pm to 6am.

HS2 has not revealed the extent of the works.
