A historic Warwick hotel has reopened after receiving over a million pound investment.

The Warwick Arms Hotel, located in the heart of Warwick, officially reopened today (14 November) after undergoing a significant refurbishment project.

Following its acquisition by the award-winning Coaching Inn Group in July 2025, the group invested over £1 million to transform the historic property.

The extensive renovation includes a full refurbishment of the hotel's 40 bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the replacement of all windows, a complete roof repair, and installation of new public bathrooms, including an accessible bathroom.

The bar, lounge, and restaurant areas have also be redesigned with a bespoke style tailored for both hotel guests and the local visitors.

Appointed General Manager of The Warwick Arms Hotel following the acquisition, James Brown said: "I'm thrilled to be taking the reins and steering this amazing hotel into a new era.

"This refurbishment marks a huge step forward for this beloved, historic hotel, and it will be a privilege to welcome back our loyal guests and greet new visitors, especially as we head into the festive period."

There was also a special ribbon-cutting moment with Mayor of Warwick, Cllr Jackie D'Arcy who shared: "The care and effort that has gone into restoring and refreshing this beautiful building shows just how much pride our community takes in its heritage."

She went on to express gratitude to all those involved in the redevelopment.

"The Warwick Arms isn't just a hotel, it is part of our story and our history as the county town of Warwickshire.

"Today marks the start of a new chapter."
