Healthcare provider to 'hit the ground running' with new home care service after receiving CQC accreditation
A South Warwickshire healthcare provider is ready to "hit the ground running" with its new home care service after being awarded its accreditation by the Care Quality Commission.
Having opened for the first time in October 2022, Kare Plus Kenilworth has already broken national records with its home help and staffing solutions in Warwickshire, Coventry and Birmingham.
And now just weeks after celebrating its first anniversary, the business is preparing to expand again, offering personal care services to residents across the region.
"We have now been awarded our certificates which is fabulous," registered manager and senior operations executive Tracey Frisby told Nub News.
"Now, we can seamlessly launch into our home care services, fully prepared and ready to make an impact.".
"We've received numerous inquiries for our service, and individuals currently benefiting from home assistance may soon avail themselves of our additional services—a promising development.
"We're actively working to enhance our visibility and establish a strong presence in the community."
The Talisman Square-based business has been working on the home care plans for a number of months and has had the structure in place for the new service since earlier this year.
And despite having only received the CQC registration recently, Kare Plus has already had a lot of applications for new carers to come on board.
"Recruitment is going really well already, and we are offering a free care certificate and putting people forward for more training with us," Tracey added.
"We want to grow our team, and we want to progress our team to become leaders by giving them the skills and tools that come with that.
"We are really grateful to be doing so well on the recruitment already."
The business was launched by Kavi Pryagh last October, who himself worked as a carer for Bupa for three years until 2009 before pursuing a career in the retail industry.
Since launching, the company has said putting people first is its priority, and Tracey said this will continue to be the message with the home care service.
"What we want to do is make sure we have continuity for the residents, so they have the same carer every day; that is so important," she explained.
"You don't want different faces all the time. Of course there will be cases with sickness and so on, but our focus is really on making sure people have the same carer each day."
She added: "It is all person-centred, it has to be all about what the client wants and the client needs.
"We want our carers to treat the individual like it is their mother or their father.
"They all have families and know how they would want them to be cared for, so it's making sure they are providing that outstanding level of care to all our clients."
And having set such high standards in the first year of business, Kare Plus said it is looking forward to growing even further over the next 12 months.
"We are really looking forward to 2024," Tracey added.
"We have got a vision and we are really excited and we can't wait to see where we are this time next year."
