Great British Food Festival coming to South Warwickshire
By James Smith 27th Mar 2026
The Great British Food Festival is heading to Warwickshire's "stunning" Compton Verney this July with a "whole host of entertainment and gastronomical delights".
The major festival arrives at the grounds this July (4 to 5) with a "jam-packed line-up of entertainment for everyone to enjoy".
Chef demonstrations and talks, street food vendors and live music alongside kids' cooking classes, foraging talks and paint and sip masterclasses will all feature.
There will even be a 'woof zone' with activities for dogs.
"With entertainment throughout the day on the different stages, there's plenty to see and do with friends and family including perusing the Artisan Market - a great way to discover new producers," organisers said.
"Pick up a fresh coffee from Average Joe coffee as you visit the stalls with a great selection of cheeses and gourmet Scotch eggs from Chickie's Gourmet Eggs.
"Grab some delicious street food from traders including Bombay Delicatessen who will be serving up treats such as Samosa Chaat or enjoy an ice cream and sit and watch live music performed throughout the weekend from artists including Limelight Duo and Rock Choir."
A range of masterclasses can be booked for visitors to experience a new activity or revisit a passion.
Paint and Sip led by illustrator Izzy Johnston takes you into acrylic painting. Izzy will provide all the materials and guide you through painting a selection of vegetables, offering tips and techniques to bring your painting to life.
One you can take home and hang on your kitchen wall at the end.
Louise Avery is a forager and fermentation expert and the founder and creative director of L.A Brewery. Louise will be leading foraging walks at the Great British Food Festival around the scenic estate of Compton Verney.
