After nearly two years of closures, the council shared a reopening date for Warwick's paddling pool is on the horizon.
Warwick District Council shared the pool at Warwick's St Nicholas Park is now seeing the final phase of works completed.
In an update, the council further noted a date for the pool's opening is anticipated this week (20 July).
The paddling pool at St Nicholas Park was closed for refurbishment in 2024.
This was alongside the pool at Leamington's Victoria Park.

Both pools were due to reopen in May 2025, however delays have meant locals are still to see the pools reopen - two years later.
As a result, locals have expressed frustration, particularly with this year's hot summer.
Local MP, Matt Western, has also taken action on the matter by pressing the council for clarification on what he describes as the "paddling pool fiasco."

In a letter to the council, Mr Western criticised the prolonged closure of pool stating "a key community amenity inaccessible for two years is simply not good enough" and "residents rightly expect better".
He added that "many young families rely on them as a free, local place for children to enjoy during the warm weather" and that the delay "falls well short of the urgency the situation demanded".
The MP also said he has now written for the third time to Cllr Will Roberts who is the Portfolio Holder responsible at Warwick District Council.
