Thousands gathered in Warwick last night (27 November) for the town's much anticipated Victorian Evening and Christmas lights switch-on.
The event was organised in partnership with Warwick Town Council, CJ's Events Warwickshire and over 40 sponsors, including Nub News.
The evening itself saw the streets of Warwick's town centre lined with food stalls, fairground rides and local businesses at Market Square.
The town centre began to fill up from 3pm with a Victorian market, with live music, rides and entertainment underway in the town centre throughout the evening.

Starting from 3pm with a Victorian market in the Square and rides and entertainment around the town centre, the performances get underway on the stage at 5pm.

The lights were officially turned on at 7pm by the Mayor of Warwick, Cllr Jackie D'Arcy, who stood besides Santa Clause and the Town Crier.

Reflecting on the event, the team at Warwick Christmas lights shared: "What an incredible atmosphere in Warwick this evening!
"Our Christmas Light Switch On and Victorian Evening brought thousands to the streets, filling the town with magical, festive cheer and community spirit.
"A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful residents and visitors for coming together to support Warwick and celebrate the start of the Christmas season."

The team added: "We'd also like to give special recognition to our 2025 Christmas Lights sponsors, whose generous support has made it possible for us to illuminate Warwick so beautifully this year.
"Wishing everyone a warm, safe, and magical festive season!"

Visitors could also visit St Mary's Christmas tree festival, at St Mary's Church, with a small donation, where £364 was raised in total.
