Four-mile queues on M40 following multi-vehicle crash

Motorists have been warned of four-mile long queues on the M40 south of Warwick.

National Highways has now released traffic on the northbound carriageway between J12 (Gaydon) and J13 (Leamington Spa) following a multi-vehicle crash.

Warwickshire Police and traffic officers attended the scene, and the road was blocked for around an hour.

National Highways is now predicting 30 to 35 minute delays and said: "Please allow time for the delays to ease."
