A former fine dining restaurant in Warwick, which closed this summer, has been put on the property market.

The former Tailors Restaurant in Market Place is now available through property agent Tim Cox Associates.

The town centre eatery is being let for £15,000 per year, just months after the owners of Tailors took to social media to break the news of the closing after 16 years in business.

A listing promoting the property describes it as a: "Coffee shop/restaurant to let in a prime location in Warwick town centre.

"Close to other retailers, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs.

"The location is mostly pedestrianised with a one-way system and small number of parking spaces.

"The premises has recently been trading as a café/restaurant."

Owned and run by chefs Dan Cavell and Mark Fry, Tailors occupied a former gentleman's tailors shop in Market Place

The multi-award winning eatery had specialised in classic dishes with a contemporary twist, using locally sourced and foraged ingredients.

Tailors had been nominated for the 'fine dining restaurant of the year' category at the Midlands Food, Drink & Hospitality Awards, just weeks before announcing the closure.

Taking to Facebook in June, the owners said the decision had come having "decided it is time for us to go our separate ways".

"We want to assure that this decision was not taken lightly. We are immensely grateful to all our customers, old and new, for dining with us over the years," the social media post added.
