Firefighters have responded to a fire at a Warwick home earlier this afternoon (13 July).

Two fire engines were deployed to Albert Street in the Saltisford area following reports of smoke coming from the property.

Upon arrival, a fire was detected on the first floor of a residential property.

According to Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service (WFRS): "Crews successfully extinguished the fire and remained on scene using a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

"All occupants were safely accounted for and out of the property prior to our arrival. "
