A new neighbourhood is forming in Lighthorne Heath, where just seven properties remain for sale at Bellway's Kings Grove.

Bellway South Midlands is building 140 properties at the development, which is off Banbury Road in the village. There will be 105 homes for private sale and 35 affordable homes for local people through rent or shared ownership.

The development features a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom properties. There is currently a selection of seven new homes available to reserve.

Angela Nurse, head of sales for Bellway South Midlands, said: "Kings Grove has proved to be a very popular development with strong interest from buyers right from the outset. We started building on the site in 2019 and later that year, in September, the first homes were released for sale.

"The new homes have been in such demand that we now have less than dozen properties left to be sold at the site. These last remaining properties represent the final chance for buyers to snap up a Bellway home on this site.

"Now that the majority of buyers have moved into their new homes we can see a vibrant new community forming, with a varied mix of residents of all ages."

Kings Grove is the first phase of a proposed wider neighbourhood of up to 2,000 new homes. The project is planned to include a village centre with a community hub, health centre, primary school and shops, an ecological reserve, public open space and a sports pavilion.

As part of the planning agreement for the wider development, the developers involved will be investing millions of pounds into improving local infrastructure and facilities.

Contributions will include £9.6 million towards education, £2.8m to healthcare, £2m to environmental and community facilities, £1.9m to off-site highway works, £1.6m to bus services and £1.1m towards Kineton High School's swimming pool.

Angela said: "We are proud to be playing such a key role in the delivery of this ambitious project which aims to eventually bring thousands of much-needed new homes to the area. The wider development is also set to provide millions of pounds worth of investment to improve a whole range of local services and infrastructure, which will benefit residents new and old alike.

"There is a three-bedroom showhome – a Thespian – available to reserve on site for £375,000. This property is the perfect chance for a discerning buyer to snap up a beautiful family home that has been fully decorated and furnished by our team of interior designers.

"We would recommend that anyone thinking about making their home at Kings Grove should get in contact with our sales team as soon as possible as we do not expect these final properties to stay on the market for long."

Along with that three-bedroom home for sale, there are two four-bedroom properties and three five-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £524,995 and £549,995 respectively.
