A gutted Ferrari driver was left counting the cost after crashing his £350,000 supercar on a dual carriageway.
The motorist was left heartbroken after smashing his pride and joy into a central barrier along the A46 in Warwickshire on Valentine's Day (February 14).
Warwickshire Police shared photos of the wreckage of the badly-damaged Ferrari 812 Superfast - which can do 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds - on social media.
The force said the male driver was lucky to escape unharmed and nobody else was injured when he lost control of the flash 6.3-litre engine sports car.
Warwickshire OPU wrote on Facebook: "The driver of this Ferrari didn't show his car much love as he lost control on the A46 and collided with the central barrier.
"Thankfully there were no injuries and No one else was involved. We attended the scene and assisted with recovery of the vehicle."
One web user replied: "Too many with the opportunity to drive cars such as this don't possess the requisite skills to keep them on the black bits."
Another put "All the gear, no idea" while a third added: "If you can't control it, don't drive it."
And one person quipped: "Violets are blue, Ferraris are red, This lovely example, Is now sadly dead."
