The latest update on the £38 million A46 Stoneleigh Island works has been released by Warwickshire County Council.
Having started in December 2020, the works will see a new roundabout, and bridge built at the site.
The 50mph speed limit remains on the main A46 carriageway, with a 30mph limit in place on Stoneleigh Road - both will continue for the foreseeable future.
The biggest milestone reached over the last few weeks was the installation of the new bridge deck at the end of January.
The 740-tonne was slid into place over January 21-22.
The Westley Bridge is expected to be completed by the end of February.
The bridge parapet has now been installed into the previously poured concrete edge beams. Work is being done either side of the bridge to build up the earthworks for the eventual new Stoneleigh Road West.
Stoneleigh Road is expected to remain closed into early March, the council confirmed this week, to "allow crucial works to be completed" to tie in the existing Stoneleigh Road to the new alignment.
Street furniture has also been installed around the site, including new traffic signs, signposts, bollards and street lighting columns.
Street lights have now been installed along Stoneleigh Road West and East.
Moving forward Dalehouse Lane will be closed briefly so it can be aligned with the new roundabout.
WCC said the project is now coming to the final stages of construction and so more work will take place to tie in the new construction to the existing roads.
This will result in changes to the traffic flow through the site and will likely involve moving traffic onto the new roads.
