Extension planned for Warwick primary school hall
By James Smith 6th Apr 2026
Plans for a small extension at a Warwick primary school have been revealed.
Stowe Valley Academy Trust has submitted plans for the extra space at Coten End Primary School.
If approved, the extension would be built on the end of the existing sports hall to provide a storage room covering 30 square metres.
"The proposal consists of the construction of a single storey brick extension to the existing structure, along with an associated hardstanding," the submission to Warwick District Council said.
Plans show the trust believes the extension falls under 'permitted development' - meaning it would not mean a full planning application would be needed.
This is because the extra room would add less than 25 per cent extra floor space and would not be taller than six metres high.
A new path would be created around the edge of the hall.
