Eleven businesses in Warwick have been nominated for regional awards which recognise the work of local independents.

The businesses have been named across five different categories in the 'Muddy Awards 2024' which opened for voting today (April 3).

Organised for the 11th time by online guide Muddy Stilettos Warwickshire and West Midlands, the awards recognise five different businesses in each of 21 different categories.

Categories cover best beauty salon to best children's business, and all the finalists have been nominated by the public.

Last year 11 Warwick businesses were nominated, with four coming out as winners.

The Warwick 2024 finalists are:

  • Best Bar: The Craftsman
  • Best Boutique Stay: Coplow Woodland Retreat
  • Best Cafe: Two Brothers
  • Best Casual Dining: Dough & Brew
  • Best Children's Business: Naturally Baby
  • Best Events Venue: Ardencote
  • Best Family Attraction: Warwick Castle
  • Best Fitness Instructor: Boxer Bella
  • Best Hair Salon: Hair at Hatton
  • Best Lifestyle Store: Bliss & Wilde
  • Best Wine/Beer Producer: Wine Poole

Organisers said: "Before you head off to check out this year's 105 fabulous finalists, I want to say a huge thank you for taking the time to support your local businesses this year.

"It's still a really tough climate out there for indies, and getting through to the Muddy Awards (or, even better – winning!) can make all the difference.

"Any business that wins a Warks & West Mids Muddy Award will also be put through to the National Muddy Awards where they could be crowned 'Best of the Best' across all 28 Muddy counties."

Voting will remain open until April 18 at 1pm.
