Double murderer sent back to prison after breaching parole terms
A double murderer has been sent back to prison after breaking the terms of his parole license.
The man - who has not been named by police - was sentenced to 22 years in prison in 1996 after being convicted of the double murder.
He was released in 2018 under a life licence, meaning he had to continue to engage and co-operate with the probation service.
However, after breaching these terms, Warwickshire Police was contacted on Saturday, July 8 to locate and arrest the man.
Officers intercepted him driving a Mercedes from Leamington Spa to Charlecote.
He was stopped, arrested and remanded overnight before being taken back to prison.
