Details of Warwick's Vintage Carnival have been announced just weeks before the event.

Organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire the town's first vintage carnival will bring rides, classic cars, local traders, and food and drink to Warwick on Sunday July 3.

Forty stalls will come to Market Square between 10am and 5pm and there will be a fancy dress competition judged by the Mayor of Warwick.

Guests are invited to come in period dress, "whether it be roaring 20's or 50's glamour whichever is your era of choice".

And anybody wishing to take their costume to the next level will be able to get a vintage makeover at the pop-up Le Keux Vintage salon.

Carol Young of CJ's Events Warwickshire said:"We are delighted to be launching a brand new event for Warwick.

"We hope this will be a big hit with the community. It's not to be missed!

"So choose your favourite era, don your costume of choice and we very much look forward to seeing you there."

There will also be live music across the day with The Swing Era, Franny Delight and Boogaloo Babes all performing.

As well as a steam train on 200m of track.

The full list of stalls can be found here.
