Date for National Town Criers Competition 2026 announced

The National Town Criers Competition 2026 is coming to Warwick this May.
First held in 1995, the event has become an iconic part of the town's calendar, and is organised by Warwick Court Leet.
This year's competition will take place on Saturday 23 May at 2pm in the Pageant Gardens.
Attendees can enjoy an afternoon of tradition, colour and powerful proclamations as Town Criers from across the country compete in the heart of Warwick.
Over the next few days Warwick Town Council will also be launching a Junior Town Crier Competition.
The final three young finalists will have the opportunity to perform their own cry on the day, dressed in their very own Town Crier attire, with the chance to win a very special prize!
