A pub in Heathcote will serve a special 'Coronation Ale' to mark the Coronation of King Charles III this weekend.

The King will be crowned, alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort, on Saturday May 6.

And The Royal Horse on Poseidon Way will be serving the special brew to mark the event.

The product is described as a "refreshing golden ale is crafted using a fusion of fragrant hops, resulting in a pleasantly hoppy aroma and flavour profile."

It has "bright tropical fruit notes and smooth, satisfying finish" according to brewer Greene King.

Many Greene King pubs - like The Royal Horse - will be serving the special ale which is 4% ABV.

The pub group has a long tradition of brewing special beers for coronations and jubilees.

But if you want to try the new product, be quick, as once it is gone it is gone.
