A man has been jailed for five years after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm at Warwick Crown Court.

Antoni Nikodem Czyz, 20, of Ashen Copse Road, was arrested by Warwickshire Police in August after officers had seized the gun earlier in the year.

The Wiltshire man was sentenced this week.

Det Con James Middleton from Warwickshire Police Serious Organised Crime team said: "Czyz is clearly a dangerous man and by taking him and this gun off the streets they are much safer."
